As always, this is the place for anyone in the effective altruist community to share anything they'd like about EA projects. This helps with coordination and communication, and you're encouraged to add to it liberally!

  • This page shows on http://dotimpact.org/ . It's publicly editable, and used to be frequently and organically edited back when .impact was purely the open space for independent EA projects that was created in the .meta project. We still provide this open space, but now ask that others suggest edits to this page via comments of this sort, as http://dotimpact.org/  is most used by people to learn about the work of the .impact Focus Projects team.
  • Comments like this don't show, so are used for guidelines, etc.. Here are some guidelines:
  • 1) Bullet point sections should have no empty lines above or below them, for correct display on http://dotimpact.org/
  • 2) Keep this page terse.
.impact is the home of independent effective altruist projects around the world. We're an open community of people working on these which anyone can join, with several active teams. We also provide venues for communicating and collaborating on these projects, which can be anything from research to programming; from designing an infographic to starting a charity.

As always, this is the place for anyone in the effective altruist community to share anything they'd like about EA projects, whether or not they'll attend the .impact meeting on the day. Notes and reports on this page are primarily intended to be read by people whenever they'd like, though you can also expand on and discuss them at a .impact meeting.

.impact provides an open transparent venue for communicating and coordinating EA projects, as part of our .meta program. We host regular updates on all EA projects which anyone can add to, as well as occasional meetings on Google Hangouts. Follow our Facebook group's event page to see upcoming meetings.   To model the transparency we believe in, we aim to publish notes on all public meetings and many private meetings within our most active teams. Anyone can create a meeting on our platform or jump in and help organise it.
