Benjamin C Get involved
It only takes three steps to get involved in a project through .impact.

1. Find a project
Look through the list of all projects here and find one that you takes your fancy.

2. Get stuck in
Once you’ve found a project your interested in, our slack is the place to go to get more involved. Here you can speak to the people currently working on the project and find out how you can contribute. Ask for an invite to slack here.

Tip: All active projects should have their own chat in a channel prepended with ‘p-‘. Otherwise, just chat in #general.

3. Be part of the community
As well as chatting on slack, we host workathons every Sunday to work together online. You can find out about upcoming meetings on our Facebook page.

Already have your own project? Find out how to add it to hackpad and create a channel in slack.

Strip down SafeBoda's site so it's compatible with Facebook Basics

Ask me (imbenclifford@gmail.com) for the login details.

Essential:
  1. Home
  1. Adapt mobile navigation to use CSS rather than JS
  1. Reduce image size for 4 images on homepage
  1. Safety
  1. Reduce all image size (these are twice as big as needed)
  1. Community
  1. Reduce image size of:
  1.  Safe Boda community banner
  1. Boda driver images
  1. Help
  1. Adapt FAQs to use CSS rather than JS
  1. About
  1. Use smaller image size for team pictures

Ideal:
  1. Replace tweets on community page to work without JS
  1. Replace font-awesome icons with pngs

Other considerations:
Appears that the site doesn't use Flash or Java and doesn't have any SVGs so we don't need to worry about these.

Questions:
Is there important info in the videos which should be conveyed by text for Facebook Basics or can we do without?
Is it important to keep image quality for large screen sizes or can we reduce this to optimise for mobile screen sizes?
